Fellowship Admissions

Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners of all skill levels are encouraged to apply for BlueWater's Emergency Medicine Fellowship. If you will soon or already have graduated from an accredited PA or NP program you can be considered for the Fellowship.

We accept applications for the Brunswick Fellowship from January 1st through March 1st each year. Our program has a rolling admission process, so get your applications in early!

The Rural EM Fellowship has rolling admissions throught the year and you are eligible to apply at any time. 

 

Prerequisites

To be eligible to begin the fellowship, you must have:

  • Graduated from an accredited PA or NP program.
  • Passed the national board exam.
  • A license to practice medicine in the state of Maine.

Upon acceptance, applicants will be required to register with the DEA. All expenses related to DEA registration will be paid by BlueWater. 

 

How will applicants be selected?

Application decisions will be made based upon work experience, volunteer experience, grades, professional references, leadership abilities, and an interview.
